MME, Hydro Dramatics Overflow Facilities
And Integrate Adjoining Building
Missouri Machinery & Engineering Co. and its two divisions—The Pump Shop and Hydro Dramatics--have recently expanded their shared office facilities in downtown St. Louis by integrating an additional 8,000 square feet of space from an adjoining building, totaling 25,000 square feet.
Hydro Dramatics, which is a local, regional and national fountain-consulting operation, has created scores of prominent area water features, including all of those in the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Gateway Geyser on the east-side riverfront. The Pump Shop designs, builds and maintains fluid distribution systems, working with clients across the nation.
“Our facility expansion reflects our continued success in and commitment to serving clients locally, regionally and nationally,” says Bruce Fleissig, president, Missouri Machinery & Engineering Co. “The additional space fulfills necessary, long-held business goals for both Missouri Machinery & Engineering and Hydro Dramatics.” Among recently completed Hydro Dramatics projects have been water features at the recently-renovated Grand Basin and Jewel Box in Forest Park, the Cypress Swamp at the Saint Louis Zoo and the fountains at Saint Louis University. Current projects include the new water features at the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden, including the George Washington Carver Garden, Children’s Garden and Schnucks fountains.
In addition to creating fountains across the United States, Hydro Dramatics provides fountain equipment overseas, and designed and created fountains for the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia, and one shipped to Doha, Qatar. |
